Good afternoon, fellows and friends. I lost a couple of hours today. As I was changing the time on my alarm clock last night, I succeeded in both turning off the alarm portion of the clock as well as failing to change the time. Some days I’m a winner, other days I’m awake.
Today is the day we pay homage to other artists and crafters. We have a good haul this week, and hope that you enjoy the items we’ve found.
The Feather Earrings are made by Tokara. The patterns are randomly painted, so no two are alike. These are erica’s favorite for the week.
The Rose Headband is made by zuemy. Each piece is handmade, but while there will be some difference from one headband to the next, the item you purchase will be very much like the one pictured.
The Retro Bike Poster is made by Juri Romanov. This is my favorite item from this week. It is a limited edition, and drawn by hand with a calligraphy feather.
The Fly Away Painting is made by Tracy Lizotte. This listing is for the original, and there is only the one available. I’m never a fan of posting time restraints, but I feel this one is worth it. The sooner you get on it, the better.
The Hummingbird Painting is painted by Irene. This painting is an original watercolour.
Every Sunday (supposedly) we try to post items by talented crafters and artists. Unfortunately, our sample size is rather limited, so there are plenty of talented people going unnoticed out there. We would greatly appreciate it if you could take the time to browse the above listings, as well as search for other artists who may have more experience in items you are particularly interested in. I once found someone who made mouse softies dressed as characters from Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings.
Have a good week, everyone. And keep smiling.
