Today’s magnificent haul mirrors a desire for wearables, though we also have a plush toy and a beautiful piece of steampunk art. Every week I am amazed at the skill and talent portrayed by the artists of the world. So please take the time to join me in admiring the following pieces:
Wedding Gown, created by Leah Raveglia – All gowns are custom order and handmade by Leah in her own home.
Fleece Shark Hat, made by ObeyMyBrain – This is my favorite item this week. Each item is made to order, so there may be subtle differences in each one. Definitely take the time to check out the rest of his shop. I might be purchasing one of his hats for myself in the near future.
Hot Air Balloon Print, made by Martin of Celena and Martin – This is a gorgeous print, made by fellow Tennesseans. Be sure you check out more of their “Fairytale Nonsense News.”
Onepiece Americana Swimsuit, created by FablesbyBarrie – This is a redesign of their all time best selling piece. That should give you a hint of how awesome this swimsuit is. They have many other items to choose from, and this piece is erica’s favorite pick of the week.
Easter Bunny Plush Toy, handmade by Phuong Quynh – This incredible piece is a close second for my favorite this week. The single winning factor that edged ObeyMyBrain’s in to the forefront is my love of hats. The bunny is made of white ivory fur fabric. Keep in consideration that when ordering this item, it ships from Vietnam, so there will be delays in delivery. I would say it is worth the wait.
So there you have it, the top five finds for this past week. As always, I feel the need to reiterate that these items were made by other artists. We take a small sample of crafts that are out in the world, and I beg you to look for others. etsy isn’t the only shop for crafters, either, so be sure to keep your eyes out for talent wherever you see it. We would also appreciate it if you could share anything you find with us on the blog, or through our Facebook page. Keep an eye out, friends, and keep smiling.
